LA Riots Release “House Is A Feeling” with Remixes By Lucati and Fritz Carlton

Revered as one of the most influential acts in dance music since the early 2000s, duo LA Riots count a number of groundbreaking accolades on their resume. Whether releasing acclaimed original productions including on Kylie Minogue’s Boombox album- remixes for icons like Weezer and Lady Gaga, tours alongside The Crystal Method, The Bloody Beetroots, and MSTRKRFT, and performances at Coachella, Lollapalooza, Ultra, and more, LA Riots have managed to extend their illustrious career to now over a decade. Today, their journey continues with a brand new release titled House Is A Feeling” out now via Psycho Disco! Records.

Their second release on the label this year, “House Is A Feeling” further divulges into LA Riots current progression into the classic feel of traditional house music. “Melding a bit of the old with a lot of the new, the track is built on a bed of smooth silky Rhodes and a bassline that bends and stretches like the most limber of dancer,” describes Magnetic Magazine. “At the center is a slice of classic house that seemingly never goes out of style, a dash of the ubiquitous vocal from Mr Fingers’ 1987 classic ‘Can You Feel It.'” Joining LA Riots on this release, Lucati and Fritz Carlton have taken the track into their respective studios to create official remixes. For Lucati, “House Is A Feeling” represents an opportunity for him to flip the track from classic to contemporary tech-house with the infusion of a chunky bassline and hypnotic synth. For Fritz Carlton, he has flipped the single for the late-night set with a groovy seven-minute extension that lays on dreamy melodies with just enough oomph to keep the dance floor moving into the early hours.
