Nicolas Haelg: Likeable, Cosmopolitan, and Boundless in Talent

Six years of formal piano education, self-taught on guitar, the purchase of his first digital audio Workstation through a redeemed coupon. These are the first rungs on the ladder of success that Swedish DJ and producer Nicolas Haelg has surpassed. Early on, he became a master of sampling and broken beats, which provided an easy transition to full composition production. By 2015 Nicolas began releasing his music through Holland’s The Bearded Man, France’s Crosswalk and a few other small independent labels. Two years forward, Nicolas has amassed a huge international following in the millions thanks to his original tracks, remix projects for Izzy Bizu, Sway, Blossoms, Gareth Emery and Honne plus podcasts, including his recently launched online radio program Good Vibrations. Relying on his sharp and keen ear for Deep House and Dance oriented detail and melodies driven by high energy rhythms have resulted in past and present projects for the big 3 Music Distribution companies of Universal, Sony and Warner, as well as producing music for major indie labels Ultra and Armada.  He burst on to the scene with the release of “Something Good” which would go on to be named as an “Essential Tune” by the renowned tastemaker Pete Tong, as well as the BBC Radio One’s “Song of the Day” pick. What followed next was the announcement as Swiss Night Life’s “Best Newcomer” recipient. Nicolas has supported David Guetta, Alan Walker and Alle Farben on the international tour circuit presenting his music and DJ skills to countless dance music fans. Most recently, musically speaking, a big time collaboration production with Israel’s rising talent Sam Halabi and Singer Songwriter Ezee “Fight For Your Love,” “We Get High Together” featuring Tyler Sjöström, “Mind Games,” “Something Good,” “Gone” and “From The Stars To You” are must hear tracks that demand your attention. Traits that include ambition, determination, boundless talent and a likeable, cosmopolitan personality make Nicolas an authentic “Buzz Worthy” artist to watch out for.
