Steve Aoki, Deorro, MAKJ, and Max Styler Join Forces For New Single “Shakalaka”

Powerhouse producers Steve Aoki, Deorro, MAKJ, and Max Styler have just collaborated on a powerful new single titled “Shakalaka.” “Shakalaka” begins with an energetic buildup of massive kicks, leading into vocals that will make listeners everywhere get up and dance. The vocals build into an anthemic house drop that brings even more intensity to the already powerful song. Deorro’s latin influence is put into play after the first drop, adding a more dynamic element to the single that brings the song into a calmer state before an even deeper drop. “Shakalaka” will undoubtedly be an anthem for summer 2018.

Deorro has started off this summer strong by bringing the heat to many major music festivals across the globe, including Coachella, EDC Mexico, and Lollapalooza in Brazil, Argentina and Chile. This Los Angeles-based artist and proud Mexican-American is widely known as a prodigy in the progressive house world and has amazed ravers worldwide with his awe inspiring collection of hits, including a cache of original productions, collaborations/remixes with Chris Brown, Elvis Crespo, Pitbull, Steve Aoki, Axwell, Krewella, Laidback Luke, Carnage, Diplo, R3hab and many more.

No stranger to success and crafting hits, Steve Aoki is a 2x Grammy-nominated international producer/DJ, electronic dance music, tech and fashion entrepreneur, and founder of the trendsetting record label Dim Mak. Aoki is a force of nature with nearly 10 years of hip-hop, pop, and genre-bending collaborations under his belt with lyricists like Linkin Park, Snoop Dogg, Fall Out Boy, will.i.am, T-Pain, Gucci Mane, Migos, 2 Chainz, Lil Yachty, Lil Uzi Vert, Lauren Jauregui (Fifth Harmony), Louis Tomlinson (One Direction), Daddy Yankee and others. He averages over 250 tour dates per year, not including headlining the world’s biggest music festivals such as Ultra, Coachella, Spring Awakening, Firefly, EZoo, EDC, Tomorrowland and more.

MAKJ has played at some of the largest and most prestigious music festivals in the world, including Coachella, Voodoo, Electric Zoo, and Ultra, while maintaining his residency at the Wynn Las Vegas.

Max Styler was signed on Dim Mak when he was only 18 years old, and Styler’s unique sound and impeccable production skills have earned him both commercial appeal and underground clout.

This spectacular group of producers came together to make the next big house hit, and the result is a prolific single that will be heard at stages around the world this year.
