JES-Carry Me Away: Single Review

For those who have experienced snow delays at airports, myself included, it can cause one to daydream, cuss and curse , sleep, whatever. California based singer/songwriter JES took advantage of such an inconvenience and let her imagination run wild with thoughts of love when she wrote her latest single ‘Carry Me Away’ on her iPhone while stuck at JFK Airport. Game Chasers return to collaborate and just like their previous Grammy Nominated track with JES, ‘Hold On,’ and the end result are two spectacular mixes. Alongside the electronic sounds and dance rhythms there is a slick saxophone line which adds a contemporary feel to the production. The second mix is a bit deeper in the feel than the original, with the lower end instruments more out front with JES. And as an added treat, Markus Schulz gives the song a gigantic boost in sound with his skilled wizardry.
